NØVEM began with a desire to feel like myself.

When I was pregnant, I wanted to dress for my changing body without feeling like I had to leave my personal style behind. I wanted clothes that followed the body, held their shape and still felt beautiful.

That feeling stayed with me after my son was born. I breastfed him for two and a half years, and motherhood made me think differently about the role our clothes play in everyday life. I wanted pieces that could move with me through all of it, from pregnancy to feeding and into whatever came next.

The more I thought about it, the more I realised that the clothes we wear during motherhood shouldn't feel like a temporary version of ourselves. They should be part of our lives, adapting as we do.

That became NØVEM.
